Is It Time to Update Your Website?
One thing you can say about marketing in the online era: the landscape is always changing. Google continues to refine its search algorithms and ranking factors. Web users update their devices and the ways they interact online, and their expectations change. Best practices for web design and marketing tactics don’t stay the same forever.
Is your website keeping up? If not, you may not be fully prepared for the next major shift—or even a competitor in your local market with a newer, more powerful, more functional site.
As a rule of thumb, it’s generally recommended that businesses undertake a significant rebuild or redesign of their website every 3-4 years in order to avoid falling behind. That said, there are other factors that might speed up that timetable, such as changes to your branding, significant expansions in the services you provide, or an emerging threat from a local competitor.
